We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel situated at the foot of one of Devon's prettiest villages. The location was absolutely amazing, as it was right on the Quay of Clovelly, providing breathtaking views of the heritage listed village on the Cornwall coast. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. We especially enjoyed the warm welcome drink and the assistance with tours and tickets. The room amenities were top-notch, with heating, a terrace, and comfortable garden furniture. The flat-screen TV and electric kettle were nice touches for a cozy evening in. The dining options at the hotel were outstanding, with a restaurant, bar/lounge area, and a snack bar offering delicious meals, packed lunches, and specialized menus for those with dietary restrictions. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, from the housekeeping to the dining area. This place truly provided enhanced comfort and quality services.
Although this venue does not allow pets and smoking on-site, we highly recommend it for families looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. The beach access and the abundance of activities such as hiking, fishing, darts, and board games make it a great option for families with children.
